Sourkrauts – German Motowear
A clothing label named out o f a term which formed like no other the live of the Germans after the Second World War. Terms like “Kartoffelkopf” and “Krauts” used to be parts of terms what called other Countries the Germans as prejudgment cause they obviously didn´t eat anything else than potatoes and sauerkraut, were listening to “Volksmusik” and only wearing leather pants.
We Love German Engineering!
The founders of the “Sourkrauts” do like to laugh about themselves and build a hip clothing label out of the actual bad term. This label is mostly all about German engineering the founders want to show that there is something about their own Country to be proud of. The German way of patriotism. So it is not very surprising that the two behind the label are avowing “Bug” drivers and they stand a 100% behind German engineering.
After a couple of months, on November 16th 2009 the online store opened. At that point it wasn´t really hard to find out for what part of German engineering they go for. But that should change within a couple of months. So it is planned that there will be a broad collection for all German cars. So that in the future every fan of German engineering finds something on www.sourkrauts.de.
“Sourkrauts” do clean up with brand animosity and combines all German brands within the “Krauts army” ! “Sourkrauts” do not care if Opel, VW or BMW. The love for German engineering counts!
We want that people greet each other again, show respect against the other and rock the street together! “ Sourkrauts” combine creativity and sympathy for people who have definitely a screw loose. The one who wears “Sourkrauts” is totally proud of his car and the brand he is driving!
So the actual collection not only includes shirts, sweaters but also jackets, pants and other good stuff. “Sourkrauts” not only convinces with many ideas but also great quality products. What do you want more as a backyard customer? Finally a label that holds everything that you always wanted.
The “Krauts” do have a lot of plans for the future and going to turn the car scenery and even the textile industry upside down. For international understanding between the fans of German engineering “Sourkrauts” even created an own signal “Do the Kraut” a hand formed like a “K”!
So it´s not surprising that the “Krauts” permanent- nearly every day- update news and other interesting stuff on their self-created blog. http://www.blog.sourkrauts.de additionally user, customers and fans could be a part of the shop design. So everybody could find himself or their car in the header of the page or even in the “Krauts” Gallery, if he wanted.
